OneTrackMind is a trip planner for riders and drivers. This page says what we keep about you, why, and how to have it removed. It's written to meet South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
Your trips and settings stay in your browser on your device. We don't see them. To work out routes, weather and places, the app sends the points of your trip (not your name or email) to the services listed below.
We keep your email address, the routes you save, and the date you last signed in. We use your email only to send sign-in links and, if you ask for one, a reply to your feedback. We don't send newsletters unless you ask for them, and we don't sell or share your details.
When you send feedback or suggest a change, we keep what you wrote, your email if you gave it, and, if you ticked the box, a copy of the trip on your screen so we can see what you saw.
One cookie, only after you sign in, to keep you signed in. No advertising or tracking cookies.
Cloudflare (hosting and the database), Resend (sign-in emails), Stadia Maps (map tiles and backup routing), BRouter (routing), Open-Meteo (weather) and OpenStreetMap services (places). Some of these are outside South Africa.
You can see, correct or delete what we hold. Delete your account any time under My routes → Delete account; it removes your email and every route you saved straight away. For anything else, email [email protected]. You can also complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa).
