Simola Hill Climb
Where I race. The event to plan a Garden Route trip around.
The Simola Hill Climb runs up a twisting road through the Simola estate above Knysna every year, timed runs one at a time for classic cars on one day and modern machinery on the next. Spectators are right next to the road, and the town is full of cars all week.
I race it. Which mostly means I spend a year building a car and then two minutes finding out what I got wrong. Come and watch. It's the best weekend of the year.
